The restaurant offers delicious traditional food, and it’s a great place to enjoy a hearty meal at a very good price. The duck was especially impressive — incredibly flavorful with perfectly tender, soft meat. It’s definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re looking for authentic dishes and generous portions

Love the food and great serving size for the price. The service is hit and miss, but my bad Czech doesnt help me. We gave been several times and will continue to go. I recommend the dinner menu for ribs and chicken wings. The soup and salads are good. The potato pancakes are also good. The lunch duck was very strong in flavour and didn't suit my taste.

As an American traveling through Prague, I was lucky enough to find this “mom and pop” restaurant. The layout is a bit different than I am used to. There is a large curtain at the door, to keep the cold out. Once through this, the staff are standing in front of several beer taps. I was eventually able to express that I was there to eat and they promptly sat me at one of their large tables. I sat and ate and drank there for about 4 hours and loved every minute of it. It does get quite busy at night, with many tables already reserved. The food was great - the goulash with bread dumplings was life changing. Despite the obvious language barrier, due to my complete ignorance of the Czech language, I felt at home the entire time. This will definitely be a stop when I come back with the family.

My partner and I came here for an early dinner. Quick service, lovely environment and amazingly tasty food. Can't praise the sauce and bread here enough! The beef tartar was impressive and the beer was outstanding. Worth ordering at least 3 times

Down to earth pub style food and atmosphere. I have had better Svíčková in Prague before, but it was very reasonable. Baby chairs are available!

We were lucky to get a seat at this fabulous Czech restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was cozy and servers were patient with us. We don’t speak Czech. The daily lunch menu was printed and google translate came to the rescue. We all loved what we ordered! The goulash and croquettes were my favorite. Beer was fabulous and I can’t wait to return when I visit Prague again this summer! Nice neighborhood too. Looking forward to exploring further.

Food was good - got the roast pork belly. I docked a star as despite the menu and receipt saying service isn't included the server selected on his own two 5% surcharges without asking or mentioning it Not particularly impressed with taking advantage of tourists. (Edit to reply to owner - it was on sat Aug 30)
